Changes for Please Pick-Up Your Socks

After reading, a grrrl's world's comment about Blogger vs. Wordpress. So, I've decided to make the change today.

For the only thing that I will not be able to transfer are the photos. For most photos, you can visit my flickr account.

You will be able to find my new posts at pleasepickupyoursocks.wordpress.com, but I will also be working on getting my own domain name as well.

I feel like I'm looking forward and not looking back.

Stay tuned.

Google Analytics.. Problems

Is anyone else having problems with Google Analytics???

Mine is saying that I have had 0 visitors since Friday, and I know that some of you lovely people have commented on my blog, so I know it's not true.

Has anyone had this problem before? How do I fix it?

Trying Up Loose Ends

I'm afraid that I haven't been totally honest with you. I haven't been blogging as early as I want to, because I am trying really hard to finish up some loose ends before I... start a new job on Monday!

I'm so excited. I can't wait. I have a new office, new team, new everything! I'm really looking forward to it and the promotion. :)

So, over the next 2 weeks or so, I will be finishing up last minute projects and starting new projects in my new job.

I will do my best to blog during the day before or after work, we'll see what happens.

Wish me luck!

Agh! Blogger

I was really sad to read this on Dani's blog. Apparently Blogger took away the URL feature when you comment.

If you are going to leave a comment on my blog and do not have Blogger, please feel free to add your URL in the comments. I would love to see what your blog is like too.

Agh :(

Christmas Parties

Christmas Party season has finally began and last night A. and I went to our first one. (Well, it's A.'s second one, if you count Friday night, getting drunk with car forum buddies at the Glue Pot Pub).

I really do love Christmas Party season, but I am very thankful that I am not throwing any parties this year. When I go over to people's houses, I love to see all the effort that went into trying to make it a enjoyable party. I'm not ready for this, well, I think I would need a bigger place to be able to have a Christmas Party too.

Like last night, we went over to a co-worker's of A.'s and wow! did they ever do an excellent job. They had wine, decorations (a little, but it was nice, not tacky), music and the food! Oh my! The food was a amazing. The host is defiantly a good cook. There was everything from a shrimp and veggie tray, to a smoked salmon and pesto hors d'oeuvre.

I would really like to thank them for a wonderful party. Thank you. Hopefully in the future, A. and I will have our own and you can come to our house.
